The autumn round-up is a part of reindeer husbandry. The reindeer herds are gathered into a corral where reindeers are counted and registered to their owners. Reindeers are treated with paraciticide and reindeers going for slaughter are separated. The stunning and slaughtering is carried out professionally without causing suffering to the animals.
